On the occasion of the MIPIM property conference, Icade Promotion, Icade Santé and Korian have decided to provide an update on their partnership entered into in 2017. After recently launching the development of a post-acute care facility on the Oncopole site in Toulouse, teams from the three entities are now working together to develop three new-build projects: three post-acute care facilities will be launched in Ile-de-France and Aquitaine.

A shared goal of exploring innovative ways to improve patient and resident care

Joint discussions are also underway about how changes in post-acute care facilities and nursing homes could improve the quality of life of both users and caregivers, and how to optimise the design process for outpatient facilities. In addition, the use of BIM (Building Information Modelling) in the design phase and then throughout the life cycle of these new buildings will make it possible to build and operate them in ways which most closely reflect users’ needs.

A constructive partnership for all parties

For Korian, an expert in care and support services for the elderly, the purpose of this partnership is to provide the knowledge and adaptability that will be required to implement the ambitious expansion and upgrading plan for its property portfolio. Icade Promotion, through its expertise in building health and medical-social facilities throughout France and its ability to ensure the buildings’ development and performance, will enjoy privileged access to a development portfolio of 16 new-build projects. Lastly, Icade Santé will assist Korian with its real estate investment experience and gain access to new investment opportunities in the health and medical-social sector involving new builds
