Icade is actively involved in the movement initiated by the United Nations. In 2015, the UN adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals to be achieved by 2030 that are contributing to the three pillars of sustainable development, in order to ensure environmental, social and societal prosperity throughout the world.
Icade wanted to benchmark its CSR strategy against these ambitious goals. This analysis led to the identification of 13 overall goals to which the Company can make a major contribution. Icade makes sure that its commitments and actions answer each one of them.
The selected goals have been ranked based on two priority levels:
- Eight priority goals for which Icade wants to position itself as a leader:
- Five significant objectives to which Icade is committed:
Icade has identified three types of contributions to each one of these objectives: contribution through operational efficiency; contribution through the development of new products and services ; contribution through its societal commitment.
Finally, Icade has identified the relevant targets (SDG sub goals given by the United Nations) associated to the 13 Goals selected and has listed the commitments and measures taken to answer each one of them.
