    Launch of “Coach Your Growth with Icade”

    2016: Icade launches “Coach Your Growth with Icade”, a plan to continuously improve the quality of life within business parks. Icade’s Paris Orly-Rungis business park is the pilot site for this initiative based on anticipating the needs of the employees of its tenant companies.

    Testing a new transport service

    September 2017: Icade, Caisse des dépôts and Transdev test an autonomous shuttle service on public streets, unprecedented in Europe on such a vast scale, for business park employees.

    Official opening of “La Smartroom by Icade”

    In 2017, Icade undertook a number of initiatives to improve the quality of life in its business parks to turn them into real business communities. As a result, in November 2017 Icade officially opened “La Smartroom by Icade”, a new area designed to accommodate inter-company activities and events organised in the Paris Orly-Rungis business park.

    Orly-Rungis business park awarded a label

    In March 2018, the Paris Orly-Rungis business park received the “Business Park of Excellence” label. This distinction recognises the quality of its services and locales that target the well-being of tenant company employees. These include an event area called “La Smartroom by Icade”, an office space for mobile working called “Smartdesk”, shared gardens and a “Discovery Square”—a place where people can meet to exchange ideas.

  • 2019

    Construction started on Expansion in Rungis

    In 2019, ARKADEA, a property development company created by Icade and Poste Immo, started construction on Expansion in Rungis, a project consisting of 182 housing units of different types (including 63 social housing units). This future residential neighbourhood, designed by the architect firm Kanopia Architectures, has ramped up the transformation of Europe’s first private business park which has been spearheaded by Icade.
