Strategy

The strategy in 2009 was to derive maximum benefit from Government projects to promote housing:  
• Scellier
• off-plan sales to social housing organisations
• doubling of the zero-rate loan
• VAT at 5.5%

With these mechanisms and their determination, the commercial teams reported a 2% increase in turnover compared with 31st December 2008, at 616 million euro in housing units which corresponds so some 4,114 notarised sales. 5,402 apartments and lots were reserved, an increase of 60%.
The order book represents thirteen months of turnover to stand at €650 million.
The controlled property land reserves portfolio reached €1,658 million. Icade Promotion is also building serviced residences and housing establishments for dependent elderly persons (EHPAD).
