In 2009, Icade’s shopping centre history entered a new dimension with the launch of works for the Millénaire at the Porte d’Aubervilliers, and with the delivery, in September, of the Odysseum shopping centre in Montpellier.Millénaire
In Aubervilliers, Icade is investor and developer in the Millénaire shopping centre (58,300 m2 for the shopping centre, 17,600 m2 of office space and 12,000 m2 of green areas alongside the Saint-Denis canal).
In 2009, Carrefour was selected to operate the hypermarket section, a tailor-made concept over 4,100 m2. The shopping centre is scheduled to open in the first half of 2011 with a boutique centre and five restaurants.
Odysseum
In 2009, Icade opened France’s largest shopping centre (a 50,835 m2 of commercial floor space including an activities centre) – Odysseum, in Montpellier. This shopping centre, managed by Icade, provides a Géant Casino hypermarket, 96 shops and 12 restaurant outlets.
Odysseum is the first shopping centre to be entirely conceived, constructed, promoted and managed by Icade. Icade also houses an Apple Store where customers can find the whole range of products with the famous Apple logo.
