Listening to our stakeholders
Icade is of the view that sustainable development involves both the Company and its stakehoders. The Company thus listens to its clients, to local government agencies and to a raft of other partners.
Our clients

Icade’s relationship with its clients incorporates environmental, economic and social aspects.
On its property website, Icade puts forward a zero-interest loan simulator for its clients, and presents housing green actions for any new buyer.
In 2009, Icade launched commercial brochures for its development operations which are fully translated into Braille to help those with defective eyesight in selecting housing in its 20 offices in the Paris region. This initiative dovetails fully with the social dimension of sustainable development.
Local government agencies
• During the construction of the HQE® shopping centre in Aubervilliers, Icade supported local employment by signing an agreement with Plaine-Commune community of agglomeration and the city of Paris; thus, lots for a sum of 23 millions euros were realised under local sub-contracts, creating 96 jobs (more than 50,000 man-hours).
• An environmental charter is currently being defined for the Parc des Portes de Paris in conjunction with local partners.
• In 2009, Icade, together with the Paris region and Ademe, organised a Company Moving Plan Day at the Parc du Millénaire.
• Icade works in close collaboration with local government agencies as a property developer or operator.
The partnerships
Within the scope of its sustainable development approach, Icade has entered into numerous national and international public and private partnerships, both environmental and social:

• participation in the development of the international association Sustainable Building Alliance;
• founder member of the DGNB in Germany (HQE® equivalent);
• Icade works in close collaboration with Ademe, in particular in terms of business park moves, with the objective of underpinning its current “framework partnership agreement”;
