The scope of our action in the property sector and position as a property investment, development and service company mean that sustainable development challenges are naturally core to our business. In keeping with the policy introduced in 2008 focusing on four areas (exemplary property projects, sustainable products, sustainable company in day-to-day activities, financial innovations), starting in 2012 Icade's sustainable development objectives will take the form of 12 commitments based on four themes : Energy and Carbon, Building and Sustainable City, Motivated Company and Stakeholders.

Our 12 commitments for sustainable development are :

  • Pillar 1: Manage energy consumption
  • Pillar 2: Reduce the carbon footprint
  • Pillar 3: Obtain more certifications
  • Pillar 4:  Improve the performance of existing commercial assets
  • Pillar 5 : Develop eco-districts 
  • Pillar 6 : Promote mobility
  • Pillar 7 : Make advances in air quality monitoring
  • Pillar 8 : Structure green actions
  • Pillar 9 : A better work environment
  • Pillar 10 : Expand green actions
  • Pillar 11 : Promote the use of environmental supplements
  • Pillar 12 : Get purchasers and tenants involved

Ad hoc organisation

A dedicated organisation has been set up to supervise this action plan:

  • the Management of the Audit, Risks and Sustainable Development 
  • a Sustainable Development Committee
  • a Sustainable innovation group
  • a Network of sustainable Development representatives
