Technical Manager
This job consists in providing project management support, advice and oversight for specific property assets. Technical Managers oversee technical management operations and work with their team to steer asset maintenance and renovation work.
As head of operations, Technical Managers are responsible for ensuring compliance with programme specifications, costs and deadlines.
Their main responsibilities include:
- Leading the team of engineers responsible for direct project management
- Keeping the Asset Management department up to speed on progress made, and the Property Manager informed of other relevant matters
- Defining and overseeing a multi-year work plan for the asset concerned
- Ensuring that service providers report regular, homogenous data
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (health and safety, listed buildings, asbestos, etc.), conducting regular building audits, and taking any necessary corrective action
