Property Manager
This job consists in managing property assets and handling administrative issues so as to ensure customer satisfaction. Property Managers must maintain ongoing communications with owners, tenants, owner agents, service providers, and managing agents.
Their main responsibilities include:
Overseeing budget expenditure
- Help define the budget for each building
- Oversee work in progress and manage invoicing
Coordinating external relations
- Issue attendance notices for general meetings and joint management committee meetings
- Minute committee meetings and general meetings
- Handle most third-party requests and liaise with caretakers
- Maintain good working relations with public authorities and service providers
Business management
- Market property assets
- Help appraise potential new files
Administrative management / Collection and complaints
- Issue receipts, monitor costs, clear accounts
- Help renew and revise leases at term
- Handle insurance claims
- Oversee tenant accounts
- Negotiate payment schedules and ensure follow-up
