Accountant

Accountants are responsible for maintaining the financial accounts within their sector. They provide information on compliance with deadlines, legal obligations and procedures. Their main responsibilities include:

Overseeing accounts and finances

  • Liaise with other company departments to verify the quality of information received
  • Ensure that accounting data are correct
  • Check the accounting data used to compile regular reports for the Finance and Administration department
  • Check that management balances and banking reconciliation data are correct
  • Check that mandatory tax declarations and social charge forms are correct

Organisation, Procedures and In-House Audits

  • Ensure that in-house audit rules are applied
  • Propose new accounting procedures and rules whenever necessary
