Icade and Altarea Cogedim sell a 12,400 m² office building in Lyon Gerland to Foncière Investissement, a subsidiary of the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa group
Icade and Altarea Cogedim have just signed the off-plan sales agreement for the "Opale" building in Lyon Gerland to Crédit Mutuel Arkéa for €42M (before taxes).
This opportunity allows Arkéa to consolidate its position, after already having acquired the AMBRE building (12,000m2 ), which is adjacent to the OPALE building, from Icade and Altarea Cogedim last July.
Located on a prime site on Avenue Jean Jaurès in Lyon’s 7th district nearly of the metro B line, this operation – designed by the Marc Mimram architectural firm – involves the development of 12,400m2 net floor area. It will also be certified with the NF HQE® BBC label.
This building has been leased in full to Banque Postale, who will be relocating all its services there that are currently situated in the vicinity of the future OPALE building.
Work on the site has already begun and delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2014.
